Tipical terminal station, it is the only access to the lagoon city. The station is situated in the centre of the city, Fondamenta Santa Lucia, and it is connected to piazzale Roma also by the fourth bridge on Canal Grande; the Constitution Bridge realized by the architect Calatrava. The system of public transport which is around the station, is based on steamboat lines on Canal Grande, while the public transport like autobus urban and extra-urban is located on Piazzale Roma.
