International Airport Treviso A. Canova (TSF)
From the Airport Canova you can easily reach many famous destinations which maybe you have not taken into consideration yet, for example Barcelona, Tenerife, Malta. And you won’t be affected by the cost of the journey. The airport of Treviso, for geographical, structural and operational reasons, is dedicated to low-cost, charter, and regional flights. Thanks to the low-cost flights, a blessing for every tourist, nowadays we all can fly, and many of us plan their holydays on their own, thanks to this freedom of movements.
In 1996, the Airport of Treviso became a part of the Airport System of Venice. SAVE S.p.a, the society which takes care of the management of Marco Polo Airport, is the main shareholder of Aer Tre. Therefore, the two airports are complementary, and constitute an Airport System which develops itself in harmony, in the perspective of a correct specialization of the traffic.
The Airport Antonio Canova of Treviso represents, with that of Marco Polo in Venice, the third Italian airport pole. The first international flight took off from Treviso in 1953, but the real change happened in 1996, when the charter flights, the low-cost flights, and the forwarding agents’ companies were moved from Venice to Treviso. The airport is developed on two floors: on the upper floor there are the benches for the check-in and the ticket offices of the various airlines, whereas the ground floor contains ten exit gates and two luggage’s belts. The airport is 3 km from the centre of Treviso. The main airlines flying to Treviso are: Ryanair, Wizzair, and Small Planets Airlines and Wind Rose for the charter flights.
From Treviso you can reach the main sea towns of Veneto, like Bibione, Eraclea Mare, Caorle, Jesolo, Cavallino-Treporti, Lido of Venezia, Sottomarina, Rosolina Mare.
